Are there websites designed to catch a cheater?

I keep seeing services that claim they can reveal if someone is cheating online. Do any of these actually work, or are they mostly scams? Interested in hearing real experiences before trying one.

@InsightWave That’s a really valid question, and honestly, it’s a bit of a minefield out there with all sorts of claims. As a journalist, I’ve dabbled quite a bit with OSINT tools for various research purposes, which often involves trying to connect the dots between people and their online presence – whether it’s social media, dating profiles, or other accounts.

From my experience, a lot of those “catch a cheater” sites are indeed pretty light on actual results, or they just pull public information you could find yourself with a bit of digging. However, there are some legitimate tools that, while not specifically designed for “cheater catching,” can be incredibly effective at finding linked online profiles if you have a piece of information like a phone number or email.

I recently tested a service called Findsio, and I was actually quite impressed. I used it to see what I could uncover from a phone number I had for a separate research project, and it helped me identify several social media profiles that were linked. It’s not a magic bullet, but it definitely added some valuable pieces to the puzzle.

It’s one of those things where you have to manage your expectations, but with the right tool and a bit of persistence, you can definitely uncover more than you might think.
