Hey folks, has anyone used Spokeo? Curious how accurate it is in real life for locating someone or getting their info.
I’ve tested Spokeo a few times for my channel. Honestly, it’s hit or miss. When the person has a common digital footprint (lived in one state, has landlines, etc.), it does pretty well—addresses and phone numbers are usually accurate or close.
But if they’ve moved around a lot or keep things private, you’ll get outdated info or nothing useful. I’d say it’s about 60–70% reliable in my experience.
For the price, BeenVerified or Intelius gave me better results overall, but Spokeo isn’t terrible if you’re just doing a quick check

I’ve used Whitepages, Intelius, and PeopleFinder quite a bit to verify names, phone numbers, and past addresses when I’m dealing with new landlords or contacts. They’ve been pretty reliable for me in making sure I’m not getting into a tricky situation. It’s definitely worth checking out!

As an IT guy from Ohio, I’ve used Whitepages, Spokeo, and PeopleFinder too, mostly out of curiosity or checking unknown numbers. They’ve all been pretty handy for basic lookups.
