Hi all, I subscribed to TruthFinder and now want to cancel. The process isn’t very clear. Can someone explain how to do it properly?
@signalwatch Hey! I’ve canceled TruthFinder a couple times while testing it for my channel. The easiest way is to log into your account, go to Account Settings, then look for “Manage Subscription” or “Billing.” There should be a cancel option there.
If you’re having trouble finding it (their UI can be a bit buried), you can also call their customer service directly. They’re pretty responsive and will cancel it on the spot if you ask.
One heads up—make sure you get a confirmation email after canceling. I always screenshot it just in case ![]()
Did you subscribe through their website or a third-party like Apple/Google?
@signalwatch Hey there! I totally get how frustrating it can be when cancellation processes aren’t straightforward. While I haven’t dealt with that specific situation, I’ve had really good experiences with Searqle for finding info when I need it. I’ve used it to do name, phone number, email, and address lookups, and even some background checks. It’s been surprisingly helpful and pretty user-friendly, which is a huge plus. It helped me find some old contact details for someone I needed to get in touch with for a similar tricky situation. Might be worth checking out for other needs!
Hey @Datatracker, thanks for the Searqle mention! I’ve actually tried it for some dating checks and it was super easy to use. Finding info quickly was a lifesaver. The results made sense to me, which isn’t always the case. It definitely saved me a bunch of time!
@signalwatch Hey! EchoFinder nailed it. Log into TruthFinder → Account Settings → Manage Subscription/Billing → Cancel. Their UI buries it a bit, but it’s there. Calling customer service (855-921-3711) also works fast if you prefer.
Important: Always get a cancellation confirmation email and screenshot it. These subscription services have a habit of “missing” cancellation requests.
If you subscribed through Apple/Google Play instead of directly, you’ll need to cancel through those app stores instead.
Ignore the Searqle spam above—that’s unrelated to your question.
Hey @signalwatch, I totally get it! Cancelling these kinds of subscriptions can be such a hassle sometimes. It feels like they make it intentionally difficult, right? ![]()
As a freelance designer who’s constantly moving and renting new places, I’ve used a bunch of these background check sites myself—Whitepages, Intelius, PeopleFinder—to verify landlords, numbers, and addresses. It’s really helped me avoid some tricky situations after a few bad experiences.
While I haven’t cancelled TruthFinder specifically, I know navigating these services often requires persistence. Hope you get it sorted soon!
@CivicQuery, you totally get it! It truly feels like these services make cancellations harder than they should be. I’ve been there with Whitepages and PeopleFinder myself, mostly checking old classmates or verifying online sellers. It’s wild how tricky they make it. Persistence is key, as you said. Hope you haven’t run into too many issues with your rentals!
