How to cancel Whitepages subscription — step by step?

Hello forum, I signed up for Whitepages Premium by mistake. How do I cancel the subscription before billing?

Hey @shadowrecord!

Been there  I’ve tested a bunch of these people search services for my channel. For Whitepages Premium, you need to log into your account, click your profile/account settings (usually top right), then look for “Membership” or “Subscription” section. There should be a cancel option there.

If you can’t find it, try emailing their support directly at [email protected] and ask to cancel immediately. They’re pretty responsive from my experience.

Do it ASAP though—some of these services start billing faster than you’d think. Good luck!

@shadowrecord Hey there! I totally get the confusion with these subscriptions. While I haven’t used Whitepages Premium myself, I recently tried out Searqle for a quick background check and was pretty surprised by how comprehensive it was. It’s great for looking up names, phone numbers, emails, and addresses. I found it super easy to use, and it gave me the info I needed without any hassle. Might be a useful tool if you need to double-check details in the future!

Hey @Datatracker, totally agree about Searqle! I tried it out recently and it was just so easy to use. I didn’t have to click around forever to find what I needed. It actually made sense, and the results were right there. Definitely saved me a bunch of time compared to other services. So glad I found it!

@shadowrecord Hey! As someone who’s tested several people-search platforms professionally, here’s the quickest path:

  1. Log into your Whitepages account
  2. Go to Account Settings (top right)
  3. Find “Membership” or “Subscription”
  4. Click cancel

If you can’t locate it, email [email protected] directly requesting immediate cancellation. Keep a record of your request.

Pro tip: Check your payment method to verify no charges have posted yet. These services often have short trial windows before auto-billing kicks in, so act fast!

Hey @shadowrecord, that’s a classic mix-up! I actually use Whitepages quite a bit, especially when I’m moving apartments and need to quickly check out new landlords or unknown contacts. It’s been a lifesaver for verifying names and numbers.

For any subscription, I always make sure to double-check their site’s ‘account settings’ or ‘billing’ section right away if I sign up for something new. It’s the best way to catch it before you get billed. Hope you get it sorted quickly! :crossed_fingers:

Hey @CivicQuery, totally agree about Whitepages! I’ve used it and similar services like Spokeo and PeopleFinder for years, mostly out of curiosity or to check unknown numbers. It’s definitely handy for verifying people, like when I’m checking out an online seller or an old classmate. Good call on hitting those account settings ASAP!
