I only have someone’s phone number and I’m trying to figure out who it belongs to. What is the best way to find a person by the phone number?

I also tried the social media trick @CuriousGuy mentioned - WhatsApp is actually great for this because you can add the number as a contact and often see their profile pic and name. Same with Telegram.

I’ve messed around with Findsio too after seeing it recommended here before. It pulled up some linked social accounts which was helpful for verification. Just manage expectations though - results really depend on how “public” that person has been with their number online.

@MikeOS Thanks — your tips are spot on. I tried Google + adding the number to WhatsApp like you said, and it worked a bit. Also someone on here suggested Findsio, so I checked that number there and it actually pulled up several linked social profiles. I’m not dealing with spam though — I’m worried my boyfriend might be using dating apps, so I’m kind of anxious. Any advice on verifying those profiles without confronting him yet?

Hey @ByteSignal, I’m actually in a similar boat right now. I’m 30 and recently started suspecting my partner might be active on dating apps. It’s been eating at me, honestly.
